During the predawn hours, winds will increase ahead of a low pressure system moving east through the lower Great Lakes. Gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected through this afternoon, possibly gusting to 45 mph in a few spots. Wind is expected to decrease overnight but remain relatively strong at 20-25 mph this evening.
Please be aware of these strong winds especially if driving a higher profile vehicle. Secure loose outdoor objects and shore up seasonal decorations if possible.

Ruth Summerly
Ruth M. Baxter Summerly, 78, of Fairfield, died Feb. 22, 2014.
She was married to John M. Summerly, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Michael J. (Nikki) Summerly, Susan A. (Garry) Fisher, Stephen E. (Victoria) Summerly and Pamela J. (Kenneth) Corcoran; grandchildren, Davin (Barbara) Heitmeyer, Katie (Ryan) Summerly Donahue, William (Lacey) Summerly, Lauren (Nick) Goubeaux, Matthew Fisher, Kelly Corcoran and Daniel Corcoran; great-grandchildren, Madilyn and Amelia Donahue; a brother and his wife; a sister-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Northminster Presbyterian Church, Cincinnati. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery.
Calling is at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home, Cincinnati, has charge of arrangements.
