* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 800 AM EDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1218 AM EDT, radar indicated scattered thunderstorms developing which contain moderate to heavy rainfall. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area over the next hour or two. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

Albert Romer
Albert H. Romer, 81, St. Henry, died March 24, 2014, at his home.
He was born June 10, 1932, in St. Henry, to Leo and Ida Wimmers Romer. On Aug. 24, 1955, in Ottoville, he married Ruth Bendele, who survives in St. Henry.
Other survivors are five children, Jeffrey (Sheri) Romer, Harker Heights, Texas, Nancy (James) Schroeder, Dublin, Jacqueline (Eric) Romer-Sensky, Westerville, Douglas Romer, Westerville, and Timothy Romer, Vandalia; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a brother, Jack (Betty) Romer, St. Henry; a sister, Rebecca Moorman, Ottoville; and a sister-in-law, Marge Romer, Columbia, S.C.
Deceased are an infant son; a brother, Jim Romer; and a brother-in-law, Bob Moorman.
He was the former owner/operator of Schockman Lumber, St. Henry, and was a director on the boards of The St. Henry Bank and The Ottoville Bank. He was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry Knights of Columbus, the Mercer County Elks and St. Henry Heritage Club and past member of the Mercer County Planning Commission. He also volunteered with the Board of Developmental Disabilities.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Henry Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Henry Cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
