Theodore Sauer

Theodore Stephen Sauer, 70, St. Marys, died at 4:27 p.m. March 25, 2014, at Joint Township Memorial District Hospital, St. Marys.

He was born May 16, 1943, in Fort Recovery, to Theodore Sauer Jr. and Cataline Diaz Sauer.

Surviving are a good friend, Elizabeth Humpfrey, St. Marys; a son, Dr. Steven Sauer, Fort Wayne, Ind.; a daughter, Amber (Alex) Marks, Virginia Beach, Va.; four brothers, Michael (Sally) Sauer, The Bahamas, Chris (Bonnie) Sauer, Celina, John (Kathleen) Sauer, California, and Dr. James Sauer, Celina; three sisters, Nina VanArsdel, Celina, Lisa (Doug) Pierce, Montana, and Margarita (Greg) Wilson, St. Marys; and three grandchildren.

He was a 1961 graduate of Fort Recovery High School and was a retired accountant.

Private family services will be held.

Arrangements are being handled by Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
