Evelyn Price
Evelyn Louise Price, 91, rural Mendon, died at 3:07 a.m. April 1, 2014, at Van Wert Manor Nursing Home, Van Wert.
She was born March 17, 1923, in eastern Ohio, to Charles and Betty Fike. On Oct. 5, 1945, she married John Andrew Price in Ohio City, and he preceded her in death July 18, 2012.
Survivors include a son, John S. Price, Mendon, and several nieces and nephews and other extended family.
Deceased are three brothers, Fred, Frank and David, and three sisters, Elsie, Mary Jane and Ruth.
She had been secretary and office manager at several area businesses, including Federal Mogul and many medical offices. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Van Wert.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, the Rev. Philip E. Zielinski officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio City.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert, and one hour prior to services Friday at the church.
