Village officials say monthly payments won't affect utility bills
NEW BREMEN - Council members Tuesday night unanimously agreed to begin paying approximately $710,000 to American Municipal Power due to a partnership in a scrapped plan to construct a coal-fired power plant in Meigs County.
The Lake Facilities Authority is focusing on area treatment trains as medication for the ailing lake.
Lake Restoration Commission Manager Milt Miller on Tuesday told the group another treatment train for the lake is in the very initial planning stages.
