Dallas Emans
Dallas A. Emans, 87, Celina, died at 4 p.m. May 26, 2014, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 20, 1927, in Celina, to Austin and Mae Rhoades Emans. On June 3, 1960, he married Carolyn E. Staudt in Celina, and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Dallas (Theresa) Emans, Bradenton, and Larry Emans, Tiffin; two daughters, Susan Emans, Columbus, and Beth (Rod) James, Circleville; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Austin and Mae Emans; a son, Mark Emans; brothers, Clinton Emans and Elsworth Emans; and an infant sister, Mary Emans.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II. He retired after 40 years from Mersman Bros., Celina, where he was an electrician.
No public services are planned.
