Park renovation taking shape
Photo by Margie Wuebker/The Daily Standard

Amanda Broering of St. Henry fits another decorative concrete piece into a quilt-patterned design near the gazebo at Minster Machine Centennial Park on Saturday. Broering and fellow employees of Gehret Nursery near Minster completed the work as part of an ongoing park renovation. The project, which began in the spring, has a July 1 deadline - well in advance of the 40th Minster Oktoberfest on Oct. 3-5.
