Gerald Chrisman
Gerald Lee "Buggs" Chrisman, 85, Celina, passed away at 7:30 p.m. July 30, 2014, at his residence with his family.
He was born Aug. 18, 1928, in Celina, to Ercel and Mary Kincaid Chrisman-Humbert. On Dec. 21, 1965, he married Faye Wilson, who survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Joe (Bev) Westerfield, Marysville, Pastor Jerry (Sarita) Westerfield, Elizabethtown, Ky., Mike (Sandy) Chrisman, Celina, and Gary Chrisman, Michigan; four daughters, Diane (John) Kochert, Celina, Patty (Ken) Alberino, Cleveland, Anita (Tye) Spengler, Celina, and Candy Snyder, Troy; 24 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Tim Chrisman, and four brothers, Junior Chrisman, Dale Chrisman, Bill Chrisman and Gene Chrisman.
He attended Celina High School and owned and operated South Side Body Shop, Celina. He was a member of the Celina Eagles, Celina Moose Lodge, the Celina American Legion Post 210 and the Celina VFW Post 5713. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and watching races at Eldora Speedway.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Sunday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Jerry Westerfield officiating. Burial will follow in North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
