* IMPACTS...Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...While temperatures are expected to be in the upper single digits (above zero), a northwest wind at 10-15 mph will make temperatures feel as if they are colder than 10 below zero.

Evelyn Kuether
Evelyn M. Kuether, 76, Covington, passed away Aug. 20, 2014, at the Upper Valley Medical Center.
She was born in Philothea on Feb. 25, 1938, to Fred and Louise Rosenbeck Timmerman. She was married for 53 years to Donald J. Kuether, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Anton (Michelle) Kuether, Covington; a daughter, Carol Ann (Bob) Tipton, Minster; 11 grandchildren, Don (Betsey) Tipton, St. Marys, Amber (Travis) Frock, New Bremen, Brandy (Eric) Weitzel, Montpellier, Allen Tipton, St. Marys, Joshua Tipton, Minster, Jonathon Tipton, Minster, and Bernard, Matthew, Thomas, Elizabeth and James Kuether, all of Covington; four great-grandchildren, Kasey Tipton, Anthony Frock, Aubree Frock and Alex Weitzel; two brothers, Clarence "Bud" Timmerman, Coldwater, and Alvin (Rosie) Timmerman, Portland, Ind.; a sister, Catherine (Lawrence) Wendel, St. Henry; brothers- and sisters-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Deceased are two brothers, Herb and Ralph Timmerman, and two sisters, Marie Weitzel and Dolores Timmerman.
She attended St. Henry Schools, had previously worked for WPTW in Piqua, Buckeye in Coldwater and was co-owner and accountant for the family farm. She was a very active member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Covington, and its Ladies Sodality. She was a former CCD instructor.
She was a past president and current member of AMVETS Post #66 Ladies Auxiliary, Covington, where she held various offices. She also was a member of the Grandma's Club, active with Dayton VA Volunteer Services, active with bingo at the nursing homes and other charity work. She was an avid book reader.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Covington, the Revs. Gene Vonderhaar and Ron Haft officiating. Burial is at Highland Cemetery, Covington.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington.
