* IMPACTS...Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...While temperatures are expected to be in the upper single digits (above zero), a northwest wind at 10-15 mph will make temperatures feel as if they are colder than 10 below zero.

Mary Schaadt
Mary R. Schaadt, 95, Berne, Ind., passed away Aug. 21, 2014, at Swiss Village Retirement Community, Berne.
She was born March 11, 1919, in Van Wert County to Edward and Clara Jones Greulach. On Dec. 24, 1945, she married Frederick "Fritz" Schaadt, who is deceased.
Surviving are a son, Cy Schaadt, Berne, and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a brother, Ralph Greulach.
She was a member of the Cross Community Church, Berne, and was an elementary school teacher at Parkway Local Schools. Her special interests included caring for her flowers, gardening and sewing.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Swiss Village Chapel, the Rev. Chris Kruchkow officiating. Burial is at Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert, with graveside services at 1:30 p.m.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday at the chapel. Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne, is handling the arrangements.
Memorials may be given to Cross Community Church.
