Aerial truck repairs begin

A representative of fire truck manufacturer Sutphen Corp. works on the Celina Fire Department's aerial truck's 100-foot-long ladder on Wednesday. Due to problems with similar trucks in Ohio, local firefighters have not been able to use the ladder or bucket since July 21, although the vehicle can perform other tasks, fire chief Doug Wolters said. It's not clear when the truck's ladder will be cleared for use. Sutphen, which also this week conducted preventive maintenance work, is paying for repairs.
