David Eyink
David L. Eyink, 71, Celina, died at 2:14 a.m. Sept. 19, 2014, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born July 10, 1943, in Celina to Vernon and Cecilia Reithman Eyink. On Oct. 6, 1968, he married Diana J. Linton, who survives in Celina.
Also surviving are a son, Douglas (Jennifer) Eyink, Franklin; a daughter, Jeanelle Braun, Celina; a brother, Lawrence (Mary) Eyink, Chickasaw; two sisters, Marilyn (Ed) Schwartz, New Bremen, and Kathleen Pleiman, Fort Loramie; and grandchildren, Anna, Ben, Molly, Jake, Luke, Joey, Josh and Jessie.
Deceased is a brother-in-law, John Pleiman.
He retired from Minster Machine after 40 years, was a Cub Scout master for Pack 69 in Celina and was a real estate salesman. He belonged to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina.
He was a 1961 graduate of Marion Local High School and a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving from 1961 to 1964. He was a member of the Celina American Legion, VFW and Moose Lodge.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the Rev. Kenneth Alt officiating. Burial is at North Grove Cemetery.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday and 9:30-10:15 a.m. Monday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina. Military rites are 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and Monday at North Grove Cemetery.
