Stephen Lawson

Stephen D. Lawson, 57, St. Marys, died unexpectedly at 9:10 p.m. Oct. 20, 2014, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.

He was born May 17, 1957, in Richmond, Ind., to Phillip and Della Anderson Lawson. His mother survives in Bellefontaine. He was married to Carolyn Teague, who died suddenly Oct. 18, 2014.

Also surviving are his stepfather, Ed Grendlin, Bellefontaine; three children, Christy (Richard) Collins, St. Marys, Nicole Clark, Celina, and Stephen Lawson, St. Marys; a stepson, Adam (Holly Tonkin) Cornett, St. Marys; a brother, Shawn (Jody) Moffit; two sisters, Pamela (Mike) Colby and Diane (Jan) Sponsler; former wife, Theresa Bayman, St. Marys; mother- and father-in-law, Hewil and Evelyn Teague, St. Marys; and numerous grandchildren.

He was employed at St. Marys Foundry Company.

Joint funeral services for him and his wife are 11 a.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, west chapel, St. Marys. Private family burial rites will be held.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
