Rita Bergman
Rita A. Bergman, 88, Minster, died at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 3, 2014, at Versailles Health Care Center.
She was born Nov. 13, 1926, in Minster, to Joseph and Margaret Reising Melcher. On June 5, 1948, in Minster, she married LeRoy F. Bergman, who died Sept. 4, 2013.
Surviving are a sister, Helen Priske, Dayton; her twin sister, Ruth Hinker, Minster; and Bergman in-laws, Ruth Roth, Celina, Norma Bergman, Fort Loramie, and Paul (Pat) Bergman, Ft. Loramie.
Deceased are a sister, Margaret (Charles) Antony; a brother, Henry Melcher; two brothers-in-law, Tom Priske and Neal Hinker; and Bergman in-laws, Urban (Teckla) Bergman, Lester Bergman and Ralph Roth.
She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster. She was the first female purchasing agent for Minster Machine. She retired from Minster Machine and from Precision Strip.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. Monday and 9-9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
