HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include... Kenton, Ada, Forest, Dunkirk, Alger, Waynesfield, Blanchard, Roundhead, Mcguffey, Ridgeway, Uniopolis, Patterson, Dola, Grant, Silver Creek, Jumbo, Huntersville, Walton, Mentzer, and State Route 195 at State Route 235.

Donald Alt
Donald L. Alt, 83, Dublin, passed away Dec. 5, 2014.
He was born Nov. 22, 1931, in Celina, to Orville "Bob" and Arbutus Roser Alt. He was married to Wanda Dull, who is deceased. He then married his wife of 36 years, Pat Alt, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Kay (Scott) McKnight, Rockwall, Texas, and Sheree (Jim) Ziemba, Plain City; a brother, Dale (Patty), Alexandria, Ind.; a sister, Bernice, Coldwater; an aunt, Norma Alt, Richburg, S.C.; two stepdaughters, Christine Abrahamson, Columbus, and Cindy (John) Rucker; a stepgrandson, Kyle, Dublin; five grandchildren, Jason Melchiorre, Rachael Lassiter, Megan Barrett, and Matthew and Michael McKnight; and six great-grandchildren.
Also deceased is a son, Michael Alt.
He graduated from Celina High School in 1949 and Denison University in 1953. He is in the athletic hall of fame at both schools. He was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity and Blue Key Club. At Denison, he was a four-year letter winner in baseball and football and a conference first team defensive-end and received the team's most valuable lineman and most valuable player awards in his senior season.
He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1953 and he served in Korea from 1954-1955 (15 months).
He was a resident of Hilliard for 20 years, where all three of his children attended Hilliard schools. The family attended the Lutheran church in Hilliard.
He was active in racquetball and was named to the Ohio Racquetball Hall of Fame and the Masters International Racquetball Hall of Fame. He was formerly employed by Premier at Sawmill as a racquetball instructor and racquet stringer.
He retired from Nationwide Insurance Company in 1987 after more than 30 years. In 1965, he served as the president of Columbus Mortgage Bankers and served a term on the board of directors of Nationwide Federal Credit Union. He also is a 50-year member of University Lodge No. 631 of F&AM of Ohio and a member of the Dublin Recreation Center.
Service are noon Thursday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Bruce Strine officiating. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Tidd Family Funeral Home, Hilliard, and 10:30 a.m.-noon Thursday at Lehman-Hogenkmap-Dzendzel Funeral Home.
