Floyd Yaney
Floyd L. "Fly" Yaney, 76, Van Wert, and formerly of Celina, died at 9:55 a.m. Dec. 31, 2014, at his residence in Van Wert.
He was born on Nov. 15, 1938, in Hartford City, Ind., to Job M. and Francis Swartzkopf Yaney.
Surviving are two daughters, Tammy Methot, Van Wert, and Nicole Crowell, Coldwater; a son, Robert (Kathy) Yaney, Erastus; three brothers, Dean Yaney, Celina, Ronald Yaney, Celina, and David Yaney; and six grandchildren.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Beaver Chapel in Celina. He retired from New Idea in Coldwater after 45 years of service.
Services are 7 p.m. Friday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert.
Calling is 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at a later date at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
