THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 655 IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EDT THIS MORNING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN OHIO THIS WATCH INCLUDES 11 COUNTIES IN CENTRAL OHIO DELAWARE FAIRFIELD FRANKLIN LICKING UNION IN WEST CENTRAL OHIO AUGLAIZE CHAMPAIGN HARDIN LOGAN MERCER SHELBY THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ADA, BELLEFONTAINE, CELINA, COLDWATER, DELAWARE, DOWNTOWN COLUMBUS, KENTON, LANCASTER, MARYSVILLE, MINSTER, NEW BREMEN, NEWARK, PICKERINGTON, SIDNEY, ST. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...East Central Auglaize County in west central Ohio... North Central Champaign County in west central Ohio... Western Logan County in west central Ohio... Northeastern Shelby County in west central Ohio... * WHEN...Until 600 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 306 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Bellefontaine, West Liberty, Jackson Center, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Chippewa Park, Huntsville, Valley Hi, Mcmorran, Lewistown, Logansville, Bloom Center, Springhills and Lippincott.

Donald Montgomery
Donald West Montgomery, 89, Celina, died at 11:20 p.m. June 16, 2015, in Camarillo, Calif.
Services are 10 a.m. Monday at St Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery with military rites for family only.
Calling is 3-6 p.m. Sunday at Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, and 9-10 a.m. Monday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials be given to the Mercer County Civic Foundation in care of the C.M. and Mable Montgomery Scholarship Loan Fund or the Montgomery Field Fund.
