Evelyn Weitz
Evelyn L. Weitz, 84, Celina, passed away at Auglaize Acres, Wapakoneta, OH, on June 25, 2015 at 6:30 A.M.
She was born on November 10, 1930 in Weaver Station, Darke County, OH, to Harold and Ethel (Delk) Bowlby, both preceded her in death. She married Bob L. Weitz on July 1, 1950, and he survives.
Other survivors include two sons, David (Sharon) Weitz, and Michael (Candy) Weitz, both of Celina; five grandchildren, Craig (Crystal) Weitz, Findlay, Nichole (Phil) Tebbe, St. Marys, Eric, Joel, and Mitchell Weitz, all of Celina; and 1 great grandson, Brandon Tebbe, St. Marys.
Preceded in death by a sister, Helen Bowlby; and a brother, Clarence Bowlby.
Evelyn was a 1948 graduate of Celina Senior High School. She worked for 30 plus years as a bus driver and a transportation director at Celina City Schools.
She was a member of Landfair United Methodist Church, Celina, Buckeye Allis Club, and Grand Lake Motorcycle Club.
Visitation hours will be from 3-8 P.M., Monday, June 29, 2015 in the Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday in the Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, OH, with Rev. Kathleen Hayes officiating; where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina, OH.
