Very strong wind gusts and dry soil is leading to areas of blowing dust across the area. This is causing visibility to be reduced to one mile or less in localized area.
Motorists should be prepared for rapidly changing visibility. Slow down and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle in front of you.
As winds slowly decrease late this afternoon into the evening, blowing dust should diminish.

CELINA - The recently passed two-year state budget contains $4 million to help communities, specifically Celina, improve their drinking water quality, Senate President Keith Faber, R-Celina, said.
However, Celina will still need to apply for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources funds, intended to assist continental divide communities affected by the Great Lakes Compact, Faber noted. [More]

CELINA - The golden days of summer were drenched by rain in late June, forcing some local businesses to close or postpone activities.
Others, though, still hope to recoup business as the season goes on.
Two people died Sunday night in a motorcycle accident on state Route 364 south of Greenville Road in Auglaize County.
Andrew Makley, 21, of New Bremen and Jessica Ginter, 15, of St. Marys were pronounced dead at the scene by the Auglaize County coroner.
ST. HENRY - A local landscape employee critically injured in a June 30 two-vehicle accident this morning has improved to fair condition at a Dayton hospital.
CELINA - A St. Henry man has been arrested on an attempted rape charge, a third-degree felony, according to the Mercer County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff Jeff Grey stated in a press release that his office received a report of an attempted rape of a 20-year-old female at 11:01 a.m. on July 4.

The teams will play again tonight after they won on Sunday in the 4Mercer County bracket of the District 4 sectional at Veterans Field in Coldwater.

Grand Lake lost a 2-1 lead to Northern Ohio in the seventh inning in the first game of a doubleheader on Sunday at Montgomery Field, falling 3-2 to Northern. The Mariners rebounded with a 7-1 win in the second game to earn a split.
