Showers and thunderstorms will be capable of producing brief cold air funnels this afternoon and evening. Several funnel clouds have already been spotted across west-central Ohio, with this feature potentially moving into central Ohio over the coming hours. Keep in mind, the majority of these funnels will not reach the ground, but if they do, gusty winds and minor damage may occur.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central Indiana, including the following counties, Fayette, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hardin, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Preble, Shelby and Union.
* WHEN...From 4 PM EDT this afternoon through Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A complex of storms will develop later this afternoon and continue overnight. Repeated rounds of storms, combined with the extremely wet soil conditions will increase the risk for flash flooding later this evening into the overnight hours.

Virginia Davis
Virginia L. Davis, affectionately called Sis, 87, of Celina, died at 4:18 P.M., August 21, 2015, at Briarwood Manor, Coldwater.
She was born September 2, 1927, in Montezuma, to Walter R. and Stella (Monroe) Grunden, both preceded her in death. On May 8, 1947 she married Rev. Donald E. Davis; he preceded her in death on January 17, 2012.
Also preceded in death by a daughter, Tess Ann Davis; and a brother, Jimmie Grunden.
Surviving is a brother, Gail (Doris) Grunden, Celina; a sister-in-law, Margaret Grunden, Montezuma; nine nieces and nephews, Rickie Sue Grunden, Columbus, OH, Ronnie (Katreyna) Grunden, Columbus, OH, Rita (Tom) Thomas, PA, Roy (Helen) Grunden, Maria Stein, Rose Mary (David) Wilson, Montezuma, Ronda (Dale) Mangen, Celina, Robert (Lynn) Grunden, Coldwater, Matt (April) Grunden, Mendon, and Melissa (Eric) Smith, Celina; many great nieces and nephews; and many great great nieces and nephews.
Virginia was a 1945 graduate of Celina Senior High School. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Celina and the United Methodist Women.
She had many hobbies but she especially enjoyed crocheting and needlepointing. In addition, Virginia loved and cherished spending time with her family.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, in Bethany United Methodist Church, Celina, with Rev. Allen Brown officiating; where the family will receive friends 9 -11 A.M. prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Ellis Cemetery, Montezuma.
In lieu of flowers the family requests any donation be made to C.A.L.L. Ministries, 420 N. Brandon Ave., Celina, OH 45822.
