MARIA STEIN - Two Maria Stein brothers were taken to Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater, after collapsing in a manure pit Friday afternoon.
CELINA - The local health board on Wednesday took the first steps toward amending its household sewage rules, including action that could give options to residents with seasonal water levels near the ground's surface.
CELINA - Mercer County Soil and Water Conservation District board members Thursday reviewed six manure-related complaints last month that resulted in a stack of reports about four inches thick. Five were in the Wabash River Watershed and one was in the Grand Lake Watershed.
