CRIDERSVILLE - A car accident on Thursday evening resulted in the death of a New Bremen High School student.
Troy M. Marker, 18, died Friday at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima from injuries suffered in the accident, according to information from a funeral home.
ST. MARYS - A man was treated and released from the hospital after being struck by a car early Friday morning, and police have found the person they believe was driving the car.
CELINA - The loudest noise in Dicke Hall on Thursday was the shuffling of vocabulary cards.

SIDNEY - The Minster Wildcats were heavy favorites entering their regional semifinal game against the Riverside Pirates. Minster brought in a 15-2-1 advantage in the series between the two teams, though their last matchup was a 42-8 Minster victory back in 1989.

Cameron Lauck's five-yard touchdown run with 7:21 left to play lifted Wapakoneta to a 12-7 win over Mount Healthy in the Division III regional semifinal on Friday at Northmont High School.
