St. Marys River at Rockford. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford. * WHEN...Until Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:40 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 13.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.2 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

CELINA - Abundant consumer spending, new and expanded businesses and low unemployment this year helped break sales tax records in the Grand Lake area, officials said.
Mercer County's 1 percent sales tax for the first time ever collected more than $5 million throughout 2015. The amount is 7.9 percent or $369,154 more than that collected in 2014 and marks the fifth consecutive year of record-breaking tax collections. [More]
