At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Nathan Hirschfeld
Nathan H. Hirschfeld, age 88, of New Bremen, died on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 5:58 P.M. at the Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima, OH.
He was born on January 16, 1927 near Chickasaw, in Mercer County, OH. He was the son of Edwin and Esther (Schmidt) Hirschfeld. On November 10, 1956 he married Jeannine Sheely who died on September 9, 2006.
He is survived by his children Neil Hirschfeld and Karen Fox, both of New Bremen, his grandchildren Alex Fox and Courtney Fox and his great granddaughter Judge Fox. Also surviving are his brothers Fred Hirschfeld of Naples, FL and Stanley Hirschfeld of Nobelsville, IN., sister in law Evelyn Eymer of Bluffton, IN., and brother in law Ron Sheely of Vandalia.
Preceding him in death was his brothers Robert and James Hirschfeld and his sister Laverne Kittle.
Mr. Hirschfeld was a longtime member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen. He was a Lifetime Member of the American Legion Post 241 of New Bremen where he served 2 terms as Post Commander and was a past member of the Celina VFW and the New Bremen Rod and Gun Club. He served on the Board of Directors for First National Bank of New Bremen. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was an avid sportsman, enjoying fishing and traveling to the western United States, Alaska and Canada in search of big game. Mr. Hirschfeld was a general contractor, developer and builder of many homes in the New Bremen area.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at the St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen with Rev. Becky Erb Strang officiating. Inurnment will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 6, from 3 until 6 P.M. and on Thursday 1 hour prior to the services at the church.
