At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Roger Stauffer Jr.
Roger "Jay" Stauffer, Jr., 76, New Bremen, died May 9, 2016, at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton.
He was born August 30, 1939, to Roger and Beatrice (Cochran) Stauffer. On November 25, 1960, he married Carol Yoder, who survives in New Bremen. The couple had been married for more than 55 years.
Also surviving are his sons Ron (Joni) Stauffer of Beavercreek, Ohio and Rob (Denise) Stauffer of New Bremen, a grandson, Josh, of Ann Arbor, MI, and a brother Jerry (Linda) Stauffer of London, Ohio.
Along with his parents, Jay was preceded in death by a brother Ronald Jan Stauffer, and his father and mother in law, Marion and Pearl (Butcher) Yoder.
He grew up in New Knoxville, and graduated from Shawnee High School in Lima. He received a B.S. in Education from Ohio Northern University, Ada, and an M.A. in Science from Ball State University.
He went to Mendon, Ohio, in 1961 to teach Science, and became Superintendent four years later. In 1969 he was hired as Superintendent of New Bremen Local Schools, a position he fulfilled for 21 years. In retirement, he served as Assistant Principal and taught Science at Lehman Catholic High School in Sidney.
He was a member of the American Association of School Administrators for 51 years, and the Sigma Pi Fraternity. Jay was a Shriner Ambassador, past-President and active member of the Free & Accepted Masons Mercer Lodge 121, Dayton Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, York Rite, and Antioch Shriners.
He enjoyed traveling and attending the arts with wife Carol, fishing, playing piano, genealogy, and spending time together with family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, with Pastor Ed Rinehart officiating. A private family burial will take place at the MRE Cemetery, Berne, Indiana at a later date.
Calling hours will be held at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home on Friday, May 13, 2016 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the services on Saturday. A Masonic service will take place at 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening.
Preferred memorials are to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
