An arctic cold front will move quickly east across the region through daybreak. This will usher in a much colder airmass with temperatures quickly falling below freezing.
Snow showers can be expected this morning with snow accumulations of a half inch or less possible. This will combine with the falling temperatures to produce slick spots on untreated roadways. In addition, brisk west winds will gust to 25 to 35 mph at times this morning.
The morning commute will be affected by these conditions. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick spots, especially on bridges an overpasses.

Jennifer Axe
Jennifer "Jen" M. Axe, 33, of St. Marys, OH died 7:20 p.m. Friday May 27, 2016 in the emergency department of LeConte Medical Center in Sevierville, TN.
She was born May 19, 1983 in Lima, Oh to David and Charlotte (Ziegler) Axe.
Survivors include: parents David and Charlotte Axe of St. Marys, OH sister Natalie (Joe) Turpin of Pataskala, OH paternal grandmother Lois Axe of St. Marys, OH 5 aunts, 7 uncles and 11 cousins.
Preceded in death by: paternal grandfather Paul E. Axe; maternal grandparents Charles and Antonia Ziegler.
Jen attended the Multi-Handicapped Program in Auglaize Co. until she was 22 years old. She then went to "socialize" at the Auglaize Industries and "Community Club" for the duration of her life.
Jen loved her family and friends. They were most important to her, and she never forgot a name. She loved looking at photographs, playing UNO and Monopoly, having stories read to her, and traveling with her family.
Rites are scheduled to begin 10:00 a.m. Friday June 3, 2016 at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home (314 W. High Street Chapel) in St. Marys. Pastor James McKee will officiate the services.
Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home on High Street.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Auglaize Co. Special Olympics or St. Marys Rescue Squad.
