Snow showers will continue this afternoon into the evening hours. Slick spots may develop on roads tonight as temperatures drop and northwest winds gust from 20 to 30 mph. Coverage of snow showers is expected to decrease overnight before ending Monday morning. Most the area will see an accumulation of one-half inch to 2 inches. Visibility will be restricted at times in the heavier showers.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Joyce Smelser
Joyce Arlene Smelser, age 86, of Celina, Ohio passed away at 1:49 p.m. on Thursday June 16, 2016 at the Parkview North Hospital in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. 
She was born on April 29, 1930 in Van Wert County Ohio to the late Walter & Mildred (Everett) Kiehl.  On Aug. 28, 1955 she married David Smelser, who died Nov. 3, 1987. 
Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law Kent & Jill Smelser of Van Wert, Jeff Smelser of Celina, four grandchildren Kyle, Katie & Kit Fortescue, Morgan and her fiance Jacob Triplett and Michael. 
Joyce graduated from Wren High School and received her B. S. in Education from the Bowling Green University.  She was a 1st grade teacher in Crestview for eight years and was a substitute teacher at the City of Celina Public Schools for 34 years.  Joyce was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church in Celina and a member of the Woman's University Club of Celina. 
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday June 21, 2016 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. James Ritcher officiating.  Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina. 
Friends may call from 5 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday June 20, 2016 and Tuesday from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m.  at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Radio Ministry at Bethany United Methodist Church.
