Carolyn L. Brandon, age 87 of Celina, Ohio passed away on Sunday June 26, 2016 at the Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community with her family at her side.

She was born on April 15, 1929 in Ansonia, Ohio to the late Herbert E. & Esther (Martin) Roll. On Oct. 23, 1948 she married Dale W. Brandon, who died Dec. 16, 1997.

Survivors include her three sons & daughters-in-law Michael & Joycelyn Brandon of Vandalia, Ken & Annette Brandon of Liberty Center, Steve Brandon of Celina, three daughters Janet Haisley of Celina, Mary Brandon of Celina and Ellen Brandon of Sidney, five grandchildren, Ann Becker, Corey Brandon, Ashley Brandon, Garret Brandon, Taylor Brandon, three great grandchildren, brother & sisters-in-law Dwight & Barbara Roll of Port Clinton, Dola Roll of Greenville and Darlene Roll of Bellefontaine.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Gerald, Byron and Nevin Roll, a step grandson Justin King, her sister & brother-in-law Roberta & Jesse Davis and a son-in-law Mike Haisley.

Carolyn was a member of the Erastus United Methodist Church, a member of the Mercer County & State Genealogy Association, American Legion Post #210 Aux., 1st Families of Ohio, 1st Families of Mercer County and a Member of the Mercer County Farm Bureau. Carolyn took great pride in being a farm wife and loved Genealogy.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday June 29, 2016 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Richard Van Horn officiating. Burial will follow in Swamp College Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday June 28, 2016 and one hour before services on Wednesday at the funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mercer County Genealogy Association, Cancer Association of Mercer County or the Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community.
