* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Alma Goettemoeller
Alma C. Goettemoeller, age 86, of Cassella, died Monday, July 11, 2016 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born January 23, 1930 in Wendelin to the late August C. & Mary E. (Jutte) Siefring. On September 29, 1954 she married Stanley G. Goettemoeller and he survives in Cassella.
She is survived by four children, Don & Beverly Goettemoeller of Sidney, Mary & Joseph Bruggeman of Wellington, FL, Joan & Ronald Puthoff of St. Henry, and Frank & Robin Goettemoeller of New Knoxville. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Lauren, Ryan, and Christian Goettemoeller, Derek and Adam Bruggeman, Jordan and Claire Puthoff, Katherine, Brent, and Julia Goettemoeller, and siblings Rita Stachler of St. Henry, Clarence & Dorothy Siefring of Wendelin, and in-laws Hilda Hausfeld of Coldwater, and Irene Henry of Carlsbad, CA.
She is preceded in death by a sister Hilda & Carl Wuebker, and in-laws Richard Stachler, Rita & Rudy Wendel, and Linus Hausfeld.
She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Cassella, and its ladies sodality. Alma was a 1948 graduate from St. Henry High School, and was a member of Catholic Financial Life, Cassella. She loved tending to her flowers, sewing, and her family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am Friday July 15, 2016 at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Burial will follow in Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery, Cassella.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 pm on Thursday and 9 to 10 am Friday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
