* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Carol Schlieper
Carol J. Schlieper, 91, of Iroquois, IL passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016 in Fort Recovery, OH.
Carol was born October 9, 1924 in Bardolph, IL, the daughter of Fred and Blanche Johnson Hay. She married Marion Dale Schlieper on June 1, 1945 in Bardolph, IL and he passed away on December 26, 1982.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Judith Dale Roark.
Survivors include three daughters, Pamela (Leon) LaMontagne of Fort Recovery, OH, Linda (Larry) Draper of Seabeck, WA, and Sharlene Schlieper of Denton, TX; one sister, Donna Richmond of Carrollton, TX; four grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Schlieper was a member of the Iroquois United Methodist Church as well the Order of the Eastern Star. Carol was very active in the Sheldon Food Pantry.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Iroquois United Methodist Church in Iroquois, IL. Vicki Killus will officiate. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka, IL.
Memorials may be made to Sheldon Food Pantry or Iroquois United Methodist Church.
