Luetta Hill
Luetta Hill, age 97, of Celina, passed away Friday morning, November 4, 2016 at Celina Manor.
Born December 19, 1918 in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late Ralph B. & Martha H. Cordier Monroe. Luetta married Harold D. Hill on November 11, 1962, and he preceded her in death on April 7, 1981.
She is survived by a Sister, Marjorie Brehm, of Celina, and 18 Nieces & Nephews: Tom Robbins, Mary Robbins, Marilyn Slusser, Lee Monroe, Lyle Monroe, Nancy Laffin, Jim Fennig, Roseann Menchhofer, Janet Sakada, Dick Powell, Patsy Rohler, Jerry Monroe, Martha Knapke, Jim Monroe, Jetta Mutter, Teresa Shinn, John Amstutz and Jeff Brehm.
Preceding her in death were nine Brothers & Sisters: Helen Monroe, Opal Robbins, Irvin Monroe, Beulah Fennig, Bernice Monroe, Ruth Powell, Luella Amstutz, Clifford Monroe and Lela Snider, a Nephew, John Robbins and two Nieces, Barbara Monroe and Suzanne Gierhart.
Luetta had attended Brock School in rural Mercer County and was a graduate of Celina High School. She had worked in the office at Karch Stone Co. for 46 years. Luetta enjoyed crocheting doilies and afghans, and spending time with her Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Monday, November 7, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Diane Mendelson officiating. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling Hours are 2:00-5:00 P.M., Sunday, November 6, at the Funeral Home.
