Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off into tonight.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset and beyond as temperatures drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

The angel came for reasons we may never understand; A journey brief, with gifts so great, and guided by God's hand. So, rest now tiny angel, your work on earth is through, for Aerian Joseph Michael is now in God's view.
Aerian Joseph Michael, son of Allison Brandt, of Rockford, born still, at Lima Memorial Hospital, was guided by the tiny angel to Heaven on Wednesday, December 14, 2016.
He was the little brother of Averie Margaret Kaye and Abel Perry Wayne, both at home.
The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at 1:30 p.m., at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, Ohio, with a prayer service taking place at 2:30 p.m., officiated by Father Ken Schnipke.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family at a later date.
