Mary Dock
Mary LaVerne Dock, age 91 passed away at 4:20 p.m. on Sunday March 26, 2017 at the Celina Manor Nursing Home in Celina.
She was born on June 17, 1925 in Louisville, Kentucky. Daughter of the late Orville & Grace (Servis) Monroe.
She graduated from Celina High School in 1943. On October 17, 1943 she married Donald R. Dock, who died on August 3, 2006.
Survivors include her children: Alan & Becky Dock of New Bremen, Andy Dock of Dayton and a grandson Ryan Dock of Beavercreek, Ohio.
Mary retired from Celina City Schools in 1985. She was a member of the Celina First Church of God since 1936. She was a Sunday school teacher and held different positions in the church and Sunday school programs. She was also a member of the Church of God Women's Group.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday March 30, 2017 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Richard Van Horn officiating. Burial will follow in the Swamp College Cemetery in Celina.
Friends may call from 1:00-2:00 p.m. before services at the funeral home.
