Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Sara Fogt
Sara Ann Fogt age 75 of Minster, Ohio passed at 2:25 PM on May 7, 2017 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born on December 4, 1941 in Piqua, Ohio to the Late Richard & Verona (Sommer) Thaman. On October 14, 1961 she married Thomas G. Fogt and he preceded her in death on August 9, 1997.
She is survived by children: Jill & Martin Emmons, Cheyenne, WY, Todd Fogt, Fort Walton Beach, FL, Tracy & Liz Fogt, Minster, grandchildren Tyler & Molly Fogt and Tricia & Adam Olberding, 3 great grandchildren Ayden, Adeline & Jackson, sister Tina & Spence Slover, University Place, WA.
She was preceded in death by grandson Trent Fogt.
Sara was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and was the former co-owner of Accents on Main.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 6 PM on Wednesday. Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
