CELINA - The third man charged in connection with the Sept. 23 robbery of the Second National Bank branch in Celina was sentenced on Wednesday to 180 days in jail and three years of community control sanctions.
CELINA - The former Coldwater Emergency Medical Services treasurer charged with stealing $22,548 from the department has been assigned an attorney and will appear for arraignment at 9 a.m. June 14 in Mercer County Common Pleas Court.
Patching project to start late summer
CHICKASAW - Village council members on Wednesday approved proceeding with a village street-patching project.
The $37,260 project is expected to begin later this summer. Patch work will be done on Exchange, Walnut, Link, Wayne and Virginia streets and on Chickasaw Road.
CELINA - Celina police officers on Wednesday arrested 35-year-old Timothy Hanna on charges of felonious assault by means of a deadly weapon and abduction.
Piper goes the distance for Celina in 4-3 victory
