Periods of light snow will occur this evening and through the overnight. While accumulating snow is expected to end before Thursday morning, falling temperatures and light snow accumulations of one to two inches will result in slick travel tonight and early Thursday.
Slick spots can be expected on roadways, especially bridges and overpasses. If traveling, allow for some extra time to reach your destination and be prepared for wintery driving conditions.
In addition to the snowfall, falling temperatures combined with increased winds will result in feels-like temperatures near zero Thursday morning. If heading outdoors, dress in multiple layers.

A band of snow showers will drop into the region from northern Indiana, and push through the region through the afternoon. Some snow showers could produce a quick light coating of snow on elevated surfaces and bridges. Visibility may also be briefly reduced to a half mile or even less. Northwest winds will also gust up to 30 MPH.
Lighter snowfall will continue into the evening behind the initial band of snow showers, with accumulations from a few tenths to isolated accumulations of up to an inch.
Motorists should exercise caution and be prepared for rapidly changing conditions.

Lucille Cron
Lucille K. Cron passed away around 8 pm on Wednesday June 21, 2017 at the Celina Manor surrounded by her loving family.
Lucille was born in St. Henry, to Edward and Veronica (Kaiser) Buehler on January 4, 1921. She was 96 years old. Lucille was married on June 21, 1941 to F.J. Cron who preceded her in death in 1997.
Also her infant sister Betty Buehler, and her Brother Walter Buehler of Celina preceded her in death.
Lucille is survived by her daughter, Barbara & Thomas Bueltel of Dayton, also by her sons Robert Cron and Gay Garman of Fort Recovery, and Charles & Nancy (Doseck) Cron of St. Marys. She is also survived by her six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Lucille was a lifelong resident of St. Henry, and a member of St. Henry Catholic Church since birth. She was a graduate of St. Henry High School.
She worked at the former Mersman's plant in Celina, the Beckman & Gast canning factory, and had a long career at the former Huffy's in Celina.
She was very active in her community including: St. Henry Cub Scout pack, band mother, Altar Rosary Society, Daughters of Isabella, Ministry of Praise, C. K. of A. Cassella Chapter, and the Sacred Heart Club.
Lucille and Flo enjoyed ball room dancing at the Carousel Ballroom and other dance venues around Mercer County. They loved spending time with family.
Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am on Monday June 26th at St. Henry Catholic Church.
Viewing will be on Sunday June 25th from 4-7 pm, and Monday 9-10 am at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
