Periods of light snow will occur this evening and through the overnight. While accumulating snow is expected to end before Thursday morning, falling temperatures and light snow accumulations of one to two inches will result in slick travel tonight and early Thursday.
Slick spots can be expected on roadways, especially bridges and overpasses. If traveling, allow for some extra time to reach your destination and be prepared for wintery driving conditions.
In addition to the snowfall, falling temperatures combined with increased winds will result in feels-like temperatures near zero Thursday morning. If heading outdoors, dress in multiple layers.

A band of snow showers will drop into the region from northern Indiana, and push through the region through the afternoon. Some snow showers could produce a quick light coating of snow on elevated surfaces and bridges. Visibility may also be briefly reduced to a half mile or even less. Northwest winds will also gust up to 30 MPH.
Lighter snowfall will continue into the evening behind the initial band of snow showers, with accumulations from a few tenths to isolated accumulations of up to an inch.
Motorists should exercise caution and be prepared for rapidly changing conditions.

Gertrude Tinnerman
Gertrude H. Tinnerman, 100, Saint Marys, died Thursday, June 22, 2017, at the Saint Marys Living Center.
She was born June 25, 1916, in Salem Township, Auglaize County, Ohio, the daughter of David and Hilma (Schmidt) Rohrbach. She married Herbert E. Tinnerman on January 26, 1937, and he preceded her in death in 1974.
She is survived by her daughter, Joyce (Neil) Cook of Saint Marys; by her two granddaughters: Christine (Dr. Thomas) Poetter of Oxford, Ohio; Jill (Brian) Clark of Cincinnati. She is also survived by her four grandchildren: Mitchell Poetter of Oxford; Samuel Poetter of Oxford; Andrea (Will) McKenzie of Tucson, Arizona; Lesley Clark of Cincinnati. She is survived by a special friend, Ruth McGlothen of Saint Marys, and by numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her four great-grandchildren: Mitchell Poetter of Oxford; Samuel Poetter of Oxford; Andrea (Will) McKenzie of Tucson, Arizona; Lesley Clark of Cincinnati.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; her siblings: Walter (Retha) Rohrbach; Leroy (Evelyn) Rohrbach; Olga (Everett) Burkhart; Martha Rohrbach; Vera (Richard) Baumgardner; Virgil (Victoria) Rohrbach; David Rohrbach.
Gertrude was a 1934 graduate of Spencerville High School. She was a homemaker and had also worked at Brodbeck's and Chief Supermarkets in Saint Marys.
She was a life member of Zion Lutheran Church in Saint Marys. Her faith and family were the cornerstones of her long life.
Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 26, 2017, at Zion Lutheran Church in Saint Marys, the Reverend Bill Maki, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral rites on Monday at the church, where memorial gifts may be given to Zion Lutheran Church.
