Periods of light snow along with scattered snow showers will continue through the overnight and into Thursday morning. Accumulations are expected to be light, however, with dropping temperatures, slick spots will be possible for the Thursday morning commute. Some snow showers may produce a quick few tenths to a half inch of accumulation, which would increase the potential for slick spots in localized areas. If traveling, use caution, as road conditions could quickly change across short distances and on elevated surfaces like bridges and overpasses.

The Grand Lake Mariners earned a spot in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League Championship Series for the first time since 2006 with a 7-6 victory over the Richmond Jazz on Friday night in Richmond.
