Village plans to connect commercial wells to water plant
ST. HENRY - Two of the five water wells tested at the Reier property west of town for the village's new wellfield project were deemed viable for village use, according to groundwater scientist Chris Cobel.
DUBLIN TOWNSHIP - A rural Celina man was arrested on Monday morning after having been involved in an car accident in a vehicle that was later determined to have been stolen.
BLACKCREEK TOWNSHIP - Winkler Road will be closed between U.S. 33 and Erastus-Durbin Road for a culvert replacement, according to Mercer County Engineer Jim Wiechart.
Several federal programs are available to help Mercer County farmers affected by the Nov. 5 tornado that struck the western part of the county and destroyed numerous livestock and other farm buildings and killed livestock.
