Lois Spohn
Lois Arlene Spohn, age 86 of Albany, Ga. and formerly of Celina, Ohio passed away on Nov. 9, 2017 at the Wynfield Park Nursing Home in Albany, GA.
She was born on Jan. 27, 1931 in Middle Point, Ohio to the late Gale W. and Edith M. (Biederman) Baer. On April 25, 1954 she married Roger L. Spohn, who died Nov. 5, 1998.
She was also preceded in death by her Brothers Vernon Baer, Leonard Baer, brother-in-law James Grunden and her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Madonna (Spohn) and Dwight Koontz.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Randy (Peggy) Spohn of Albany, GA and two grandchildren Stephen Spohn, Roger Spohn, sisters and brothers-in-law Margaret Grunden of Montezuma, LaDonna (Donal) Preston of St. Marys, Myrna (Robert) Wolfe of Neptune, sister-in-law Josie Baer of Van Nuys, CA.
Lois was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Celina and the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Albany, Georgia, where she was very active with the Women's group at the Church.
She graduated from the Center Township High School in Neptune, with the Class of 1949. Lois retired from the Key Corp Bank as an Assistant Vice President.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, Ohio, with Rev. Craig Cisco officiating. Burial will follow in the Swamp College Cemetery in Celina.
Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
Memorial contributions may be made to the C.A.L.L. Ministries.
