Scattered snow showers occurring across the area will slowly diminish through the overnight hours. These snow showers will continue to cause brief reductions in visibility. In addition, the snow showers could produce a light coating of snow on roadways. This will result in the potential for some slick spots to develop. Motorists should be prepared for changing conditions overnight and exercise extra caution.
ST. MARYS TOWNSHIP - A 72-year-old New Bremen woman died this morning after an accident at the intersection of state routes 219 and 364, according to the Wapakoneta Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Sandra Vondenhuevel was reportedly driving a 2012 Chevrolet sedan northbound on State Route 364 at about 6:20 a.m., when she reportedly failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection with State Route 219, according to the release. [More]
