Alice Yaney
Alice H. Yaney, age 89, of Celina, Ohio, passed away at 12:35 AM on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater, Ohio.
She was born on December 9, 1928 in Ottawa, Ohio to the late Abraham and Mary Anna (Kramer) Losh. She married Lloyd J. "Doc" Yaney on October 22, 1949, who preceded her in death on December 7, 2007.
Survivors are a son, Mike (Alice) Yaney, Celina; a daughter, Marsha (Lauris) Turck, Naples, Florida; three grandchildren, Laurie (Aaron) Clausen, Noblesville, Indiana, Steve (Michelle) Yaney, Chardon, Ohio, and Grant Turck, Venice, California; and five great grandchildren, Lacy, Zach, and Jack Clausen, and Adrianna and Jacob Yaney.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph, Richard, John, and Albert Losh; sisters, Mary Ann Howard, Helen Fischer, Lucille Harrison, Betty Hyde, and Eileen Carver; and her father and mother in-law, Fred (Rhoda) Yaney.
She was a 1947 graduate of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic High School in Ottawa, Ohio. Alice was a loving homemaker and also worked at Mersman Brothers Furniture Co. in Celina. Alice enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all.
Visitation hours will be from 3-7 PM on Friday, December 22, 2017, in Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
Funeral services will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 23, 2017 in the funeral home, with Rev. Matt Overman officiating; where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery in Celina.
