A quick burst of snow will move through the area this evening, resulting in light snow accumulations which may cover roadways. As temperatures drop into the teens, slick conditions are expected to remain through the overnight. Slick spots can be expected on roadways, especially bridges and overpasses. If traveling this evening and overnight, allow for some extra time to reach your destination and be prepared for winter driving conditions.

Immanuel Trigo, 7, Celina, on Tuesday shovels snow in the 400 block of North Main Street. A total of 1.9 inches of snow fell on Saturday followed by 3.2 inches on Sunday, according to local weather forecaster Dennis Howick.
