Marilyn Post
Marilyn Post, 58, of rural Spencerville, passed away at 8:41 PM Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in the Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center Emergency Department in Lima following a sudden illness at her home.
She was born February 16, 1959 in Pontiac, MI., a daughter of Arthur and Ellen Skaggs Mabry. Her father is deceased and her mother survives in Flemmingsburg, KY.
She is the devoted wife of Daniel S. Post, whom she married August 9, 1991, who survives, along with her step sons; Brian (Amy) Post and Jim (Kristy) Post; her siblings; Steve Mabry, Loretta Mabry, Art Mabry, Lee Mabry and Jeff Mabry; grandchildren; Allison, Alexis, Taylor, Braden and Nicholas Post; nephew Adam Mabry and nieces; Amanda, Elizabeth, Alicyn, and Stephanie Mabry and Jennifer Sanders.
She was the longtime Secretary-Treasurer of Post Agri-Service LLC. Loved her man as she said and ballgames and playtime with her grandchildren. She excelled at everything she did.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Saturday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, with Pastor David W. Howell officiating. Burial will follow in the New Salem Cemetery, South of Monticello.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 PM Friday and after 9:30 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
