Edward Prenger
Edward J. Prenger age 87 of Minster passed away at 1:45 AM on January 4, 2018 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born on March 24, 1930 in Minster, Ohio to the late Edward J. & Catherine (Homan) Prenger. He married Norma Jean Bendele on September 1, 1956 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta. She survives him in Minster.
He is also survived by children: Nicholas & Mary Prenger, Richard & Stacy Prenger, Peg & Keith Kemper, Edward John & Kathy Prenger, all of Minster and Andrew & Vicki Prenger, Troy, 9 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren, brothers & sisters: Norma & Leo O'Reilly, Minster, Wilfred & Carol Prenger, Sidney, Lorena & Norman Bowman, Maria Stein, Al & Mary Prenger, Minster, Ken & Diane & Prenger, Minster, Tom & Donna Prenger, Tipp City, in-law Ralph May, Coldwater.
He was preceded in death by sister Marilyn May & brother Robert & Doris Prenger.
He was a member of St. Augustine Church, Minster and a former member of the Minster Area Life Squad. Ed was retired from Stolle Corp. Sidney and enjoyed woodworking in his spare time.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 8, 2018 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, Ohio with Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery.
Friends may call at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, January 7, and from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM on Monday, January 8.
Memorial donations may be made to the Minster Area Life Squad.
