Kathryn Spees
Kathryn "Kay" Frances Spees, age 78 passed away Friday, March 16, 2018.
She was born on July 14, 1939 to the late Walter and Mary VanderHorst in Celina, OH.
She graduated from Celina Immaculate Conception in 1957. She was an active and longtime member of St. Rita Catholic Church and community.
Kay is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Morris "Mo" Spees; children Todd (Sarah), Jody (Brad) Korner, Karie (Greg) Meyers, Brad (Colleen), Scott (Valerie); 2 sisters Mary Reichert and Ruth Ann Smith; 16 grandchildren and many other loving family members.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday March 20, 2018 at St. Rita Catholic Church 5401 N. Main St., Dayton.
The family will receive friends 4-8 PM Monday at Baker-Hazel Snider Funeral Home 5555 Philadelphia Dr., Dayton, and one hour prior to Mass. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul in Kay's memory.
