The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Patsy Bowersock
Patsy Bowersock, 71, of St. Marys, OH left us Friday April 5, 2018 with her family by her side at Joint Twp. District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born February 21, 1947 in Martin, KY to Robert and Jewel (Horn) Haskell. Her first husband was Edward Bowersock. On November 17, 1982, she married Robert Maher, who preceded her in death on March 18, 1992.
Patsy is survived by: son Dale Bowersock of Austin, TX; son Brian (Donna Belle) Bowersock of St. Marys, OH; son Scott (Heather) Bowersock of St. Marys, OH; son Robert (Leann) Maher of St. Marys, OH; daughter Diana Maher of St. Marys, OH; daughter Alicia (Terry) Clune of New Bremen, OH; 10 grandchildren: Emilee, Jeremy, Scotty, Chelsea, Tarynn, Ashlee, Alyse, Cassidy, Madalynn, Kaitlynn; sister Paula Wagner of Lima, OH; sister Lisa Haskell of St. Marys, OH; brother Robert (Cheryl) Haskell of Troy, TN; 2 special aunts: Norma Jean McMurray and Marcella Stumbo; dear companion Robert Gerstner of St. Marys, OH.
Preceded in death by: parents Robert and Jewel Haskell; husband Robert Maher; infant son Shane Bowersock; sister Margie Zimmerman; niece Lendsay Zimmerman.
Patsy will forever be remembered for her generous, fun-loving and nurturing nature and her witty sense of humor.
Per her final wishes, Patsy chose to donate herself as an anatomical gift to the Wright State University School of Medicine.
In lieu of a traditional funeral service, a Celebration of Life will be observed 12:00 noon-1:00 p.m. on Saturday May 5, 2018 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Grand Lake Hospice.
