Eileen Phillips
Eileen Marie Phillips, 94, of Tiffin, passed away on Monday morning, July 9, 2018 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Fostoria.
She was born on February 27, 1924, in Tiffin, Ohio to Robert E. and Eva Mae (Hornish) Woodland. On August 15, 1942, in 2nd United Church of Christ, she married Norman M. Phillips.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathy (Otto) Blackburn of Fostoria and Tracy (David) Hierholzer of Celina; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great, great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman; daughter, Sandra Ray; brothers, Nathan Woodland, Bob Woodland and Bill Woodland; and sister, Alice Alexander.
Eileen was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, flowers, baking and loved spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchild.
Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 13, 2018 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. Jerry Copeland officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 5-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Nursing Home Chapel or to Good Shepherd Nursing Home Activity Fund.
