Thomas Swigert
Thomas Roger Swigert age 74 of South Webster, Ohio went to be with his Lord on July 8, 2018 at SOMC in Portsmouth, Ohio after an extended illness.
He was born August 10, 1943 in Bluffton, Indiana to the late Edwin and Esther Mae Gibbs.
He was a child of the Lord and a member of the Brick Union Gospel Lighthouse in Lloyd, KY. He was an over the road truck driver for 42 years, a U.S. Army Veteran, and member of James Dickey Post #23, American Legion.
Thomas is survived by his wife of 24 years, George Ann Pinson Swigert. Also surviving are a son, James (Jackie) White of McDermott; daughters, Rhonda (Cory) Swigert Eddy of Clearfield, Oregon, Michele Swigert and Paula (Doug) Hammock of Arlington, Oregon; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren; a sister, Janice Love of Wheelersburg; and a dear friend, Pat Kairns.
Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday July 14, 2018 at Brick Union Gospel Lighthouse with Pastor Carl Collier officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by D.W. Swick-Nelson Funeral Home in South Webster.
