Lowell Deitsch
Lowell Deitsch, age 91, of Bradenton, Fl., and formerly of Rockford, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018.
He was preceded in death by a son, Benjamin.
He was born in Hopewell Township on March 9, 1927 to the late Ben and Electa (Eichenauer) Deitsch. He was a graduate of Rockford High School class of 1945.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marilyn (Cotton) Deitsch and 3 sons and daughters-in-law: Bruce (Eileen) Deitsch, Monument, Co.; Brion (Carol). Deitsch, North Port, Fl.; Brent (Patty) Deitsch, Duluth, Ga. with a total of six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. One sister, Ruth (Deitsch) Myers, Rockford, Oh., and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lowell was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired from Honda Power Equipment after 15 years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Buford, where he was a former member of the Silvertones Choir and the Upper Room Sunday School class.
Services were held on Thursday, June 21, 2018. Interment followed at the Gwinnett Memorial Gardens in Lawrence-ville, Ga. with military honors.
